I'm Back!!!

I'm back! I hope you all haven't forgotten about me in my two month hiatus. Life gets crazy and unfortunately my blogging has been put way on the back burner for too long. Much has happened over the last couple months, both in my workout life and my personal life. As far as my workouts are concerned, I've been making great progress! I won't go into extensive detail over every workout over the last two months but one major accomplishment happened just yesterday....I got a deadlift PR: 205 lb!!!! When I went to the gym yesterday, I had no intention to PR, but I was feeling really good and strong and decided to go for it. It was such a great feeling to see my hard work pay off! It was a big motivator for me and I can't wait to keep seeing my numbers increase. My squat and bench are also improving and I've been implementing more conditioning and core work recently and am starting to see a good improvement with that.
Diet wise, I've been doing pretty well. I'm still doing carb backloading which I absolutely love! It's the perfect thing for me. I've also cleaned up my diet so that it is completely gluten free. It's definitely a struggle sometimes but definitely worth it. I made some fantastic gluten free peanut butter chocolate chip cookies yesterday afternoon! There are lots of gluten free substitutes for things; it is a bit more time consuming and costly but I can tell such a difference in how I look and feel. I'll never go back!
That's just a very brief overview of the last couple months. I'll update more regularly with more tips and ideas for great workouts!
